Scottish Organic Soay Lamb and Mutton Box Scheme
We sell Boxes of half an organic Soay Lamb and Mutton. Each organic meat box is frozen to ensure freshness and contains a range of cuts. The size of the native breed Soay sheep are smaller than other well known breeds, so the cuts produced are of quality not quantity. This speciality meat is perfect for that unique occasion. If you are a person who is concerned with food miles and quality produce, this is the perfect product for you to try.

All the butchery and packaging is done locally by an organically certified butcher

1. Half lamb Boxes contain:
Either 2 Racks or Saddle, Rolled Shoulder, Gigot and Mince.
All quality cuts, delicious and perfect for that special occasion.
Organic Soay Lamb boxes (Weights between 3.8 - 4.5kg) = £13/kg.
2. Slow Cooking Boxes contain:
Liver, Kidneys, Shanks, Flanks and Neck.
All the cuts that are perfect for slow cooking into amazing stews or adding extra flavour to other dishes.
Organic Stewing Boxes (all boxes around 3.5 kg) = £7/kg
3. Mutton Selection Boxes contain:
All boxes contain Gigot, Rack, Diced Shoulder, Mince, Rear Shank, True Loin and Neck. The heavier boxes contain further packets of diced shoulder or mince with the addition of Loin Fillet and Kidneys.

Standards and Welfare
Dowlaw Farm has full organic status (SOPA) and is a member of the Specially Selected Scotch Farm Assurance Scheme which guarantees high standards of livestock husbandary and welfare. All butchery and preparation is done locally.
